About McLeod Gardens

McLeod Gardens is the result of over 30 years of interest in daylilies and daylily hybridizing. My interest began in 1993 after a visit to a local daylily garden where I experienced the kindness of a legendary Georgia daylily hybridizer who sparked my lifelong interest with a tour of his extraordinary Savannah garden and gracious gift of plants that remain in my garden to this day. I am an active member of the American Daylily Society with local membership in the Ogeechee Daylily Society. I exhibit daylilies in South and Central Georgia and North and Central Florida each year. My two daughters Lindsey and Amelia and my wife Karen also sometimes participate in showing.
